What’s the reasoning behind larger yet less frequent dosing of rapa (5mg+ every 7 days +) versus taking .5 or perhaps 1mg daily?
Is the strategy guesswork or backed by some scientific research? Thanks in advance for feedback.

The issue with dosing daily is that this is the dosing strategy used in organ transplant patients and, because of the long half-life of rapamycin (around 70 hours) it builds up in your body, and it can greatly increases risk of mTOR2 inhibition, and immune system suppression.
