I’ve become a big fan of Physionic.
Thanks for bringing him to our attention.
With respect to the video Attia’s 4 Rules of Longevity (+1 Often Forgotten One), I think we need to consider 3 other things:
-
Injury repair and prevention (e.g., PEMF, mobility work, …). Maybe part of the first level maintenance, but I think worth including in the discussion. If injures stop us from moving we’ve got trouble. You cover a lot of this on your site.
-
Systemic inflammation - a lot of the 4 Rules help address this, but don’t necessarily do so directly. Cold thermogenesis provides one option to help.
-
Microbiome (oral, skin & gut) - our microbiomes affect our health and functional capacity.
I’ve written about this elsewhere on the forum. I think it merits repeating re: these …Rules of Longevity…
Antibiotics saved my life on multiple occasions.
Unfortunately, every course of antibiotics that I have taken since my 20s has worsened or introduced new autoimmune conditions.
Medical science has linked dysbiosis an imbalance within a community of microorganisms) to a range of diseases including allergies, psoriasis, arthritis, Wegener’s, gout, even diabetes.
As example, dysbiosis of specific gut bacteria populations appear to always occur in psoriasis.
This said, to my knowledge, research has not come forward with the imbalance as a cause of psoriasis or any of these diseases|conditions. (Let me know if anyone has more current information).
I’ve seen some reports that the presence of autoimmune issues increases risk of cancer.
The whole system matters and we have an extraordinary amount of microorganisms living on, in, and with us.
I’ve had some success in managing my gut, oral, and skin microbiome, but I certainly have a long way to go to solve the problems.
