Sounds like a case of contamination, always a lurking danger for peptide users. With millions of vials in circulation, it’s easy for a contaminated batch to be floating around. It is also possible that the RAADfest vials were deliberately sabotaged. I wonder if the evidence was destroyed or tampered with.

These are three peptides that thousands upon thousands of people have used safely with zero problems (myself included). What stands out to me if that they are offered in IV form, so it could be that too much was administered IV or some contamination as many of us have speculated.

In the present study, we found that in human testes FOXO4 was specifically expressed in Leydig cells, that FOXO4 showed nuclear translocation in Leydig cells within old testes, and that the nuclear translocation of FOX04 was related to decreased testosterone synthesis. Then using a H2O2-induced senescent TM3 Leydig cell model, we found that FOXO4 maintains the viability of senescent Leydig cells and that the FOXO4 blocker FOXO4-DRI induces apoptosis in these senescent cells. Finally, we explored the therapeutic effect of FOXO4-DRI in naturally aged mice, and demonstrated that FOXO4-DRI alleviates age-related testosterone secretion insufficiency and improves the testicular microenvironment. These findings suggest the potential usefulness of FOXO4-DRI for the treatment of male LOH.

Mouse dosage was 5mg/kg administered 3 times, and testosterone increase was observed 1 month after administration.

I’m taking my bi-monthly dose of TB-500 (Frag 1-4), which is more than a mere analgesic. It heals and cures and vivifies. It is a true medicine in the sense that it makes itself unnecessary.

18-mg vial, 3 ml of bac water, 1-ml syringe
30 doses/month = 0.6mg/day = 10 i.u.

I’m also taking 3.5 picos of klotho per week. Even if it’s homeopathic, even it’s pure placebo, at least I’m not using an IV to get a massive overdose.

I hope they have third-party COAs for those!

Some very popular Chinese peptide vendors just got busted.

This is a friendly reminder to please not post sources publicly.

Except that is blowing up on TikTok, likely all this exposure is drawing attention.

Yes, the two largest Chinese peptides vendors have been dark now for 4+ days.

A minor point but i.u. is not the same as units in an insulin syringe.

An i.u. is a measure of biologic activity, not weight or volume.

i.u. is international units, used as a measure of certain drugs and commonly with hormones and is an odd one when it comes to figuring out what an i.u. of any particular compound weighs in milligrams. . For example 1 i.u. of Oxytocin does not have the same mg of active ingredient as 1 i.u. of Testosterone

“units” on the other hand is a simple measure of volume - 1 unit = 0.01mL
10 units = 0.1mL

Thank you for the fine distinction.

I’ve started my SS 31 / Elamipritide experiment. Took my first evaluation dose of 5mg yesterday afternoon and another 5mg just before bed. The target dose is 10mg x 2 times a day for 2 weeks.

This morning we did the 10mg dose and will do another 10 mg dose after dinner, before our evening walk.

I did get a good nights sleep (I’m a great sleeper anyway) and my morning HRV test was higher (56) than it’s been in a while so I’m happy about that.

Sleep stats were off a bit, my Deep Sleep was good with 1:43 (h/m) but my REM sleep was way down to 0:43 when it’s usually 1:50, only 1 wake event, which is typical for me.

I’m also tracking sleep Hypopnea and it was 1.1 per hour last night, my avg is 1.1 per hour - this uses blood oxygen levels as a “rough” indication of sleep apnea. The algo also ties to motion while sleeping. While not as accurate as a full sleep evaluation it’s a simple indicator that can show a trend. The measurement indicates when the blood oxygen drops below 90 so I had 1.1 “low events” per hour, anything below 3.0 per hour is considered “normal”.

BP this morning was 100/63 - pretty much my average for the past 18 months.

My current peptide stack is;

Morning
BPC 157 + TB500 - 7x a week for the past 25 months
GHK-cu - 7x a week for 1 month - will add it to the daily routine and put it in the BPC shot to reduce the number of pokes.
KGB Kisspeptin + Gonadorelin 5x a week - 2 months on 1 month off
SS 31 / Elamipritide - will do a 2 week cycle

Late day
SS 31 / Elamiprtitide - 2 week cycle

Night - just before bed
CJC noDAC + Ipamorelin - 5 nights a week for the past 25 months
DHEA - 5 nights a week for the past 25 months
DSIP - 7 nights a week for the past 3 months - will be a permanent addition

Once weekly
Retatrutide - 25 months (first 6 months on Tirz) - I’m a lifer until something better comes along

Plus daily nasal sprays of Oxytocin and Selank - 6 months

And the usual suspects with regard to supplements and our morning super shake.

Plus some prescribed meds for BP and Cholesterol - my Dr added Ezetimibe 2 weeks ago. I “manipulated” my last blood test to increase my Chol and he suggested that Eze be added  Since most prescription drugs are covered for 65y/o and up, my prescriptions cost me about $160 per year.

Nearly forgot - we are 1 month in on the daily Rapamycin dose of 1mg per day. No issues so far.

The article in the San Francisco Standard, posted by RapAdmin above, provides a link to a new, free, peptide-testing platform, https://www.finnrick.com/. Before this site was available, some Chinese sources and their customers used Janoshik to test for purity. The only problem with Janoshik is that, while its tests were accurate, it didn’t keep historical tabs on each lab. The new platform, finnrick, measures a lab’s performance on each product and then gives the lab an overall grade. Some of the labs are obscure, but some are well known on the internet, and others are defunct Chinese sources.

Both Peptide Sciences and Shanghai Sigma Audley get a solid A for their semaglutide. For BPC-157, Peptide Sciences gets another A, but Swiss Chems gets a C and SSA gets an F. However, Peptide Sciences got a low grade for its retatrutide, so a discerning buyer will be selective.

The table can be sorted by product or vendors.

I’ve noticed some changes in the past 2 days, these would be from the SS 31.

Keep in mind that I’m getting as close to the functional dose in the “successful” clinical trials in humans. Major difference is I’m doing 2 daily doses subQ and the trials were a 2 to 4 hour IV. My dose is 10mg twice daily, morning and around 5pm

20mg per day = 10mg twice a day, based on my body weight from the doses used in the trials.

I’m finding my energy level is going up, a bit more focused. Last night I slept through until the morning and woke 15 minutes before my alarm, having to hit the john. I near instantly felt fully awake and ready to go. Normally I’m slow to get up as I like my comfy bed LoL! All my sleep markers are back to “normal”.

Too bad they only accept shipments from the US.

Once we sort out our shipping maybe one of our customers can send a sample for us.

There are some serious issues with this service, and I would not rely on its data:

  • the biggest one by far is testing lab quality. Time and time again, through blind test challenges and head-to-head comparison, many people have demonstrated that most of these labs provide inaccurate results when it comes to peptide identification, mass, and purity. This is basic stuff. Most US labs just aren’t reliable enough, it’s the simple reality, and why a lab half the world away is still doing business.
  • all vendors only consider Janoshik test results when it comes giving out store credit because of a defective product. Again, US labs aren’t reliable enough.
  • not really sure what the business model for Finnrick is here. This is a VC-funded company, so they expect at least 10x return. If it’s free to you, you can be sure you are the product. Now, how will they make money? Will they sell your data to the US goverment? Will they sell sponsorship spots to grey labs? If they did do that, I would question the quality of the data they provide, since they are supposed to be impartial. How are they making money?

To me, Finnrick isn’t testing peptide quality, they’re testing US lab’s reliability and accuracy. Which renders its data useless for what we actually want to measure, which is peptide mass/purity.

Peptidetest.com is a reliable and knowledgeable US vendor. They can’t test as many different compounds compared to Janoshik, but they have most of the basics covered.

Agreed, they are reliable. Except in some rare cases, I would trust their results. There are rare cases wHere they tend to give lower purity results. This happens because they’re not able to identify certain fillers that vendors may use (you’ll typically see a note about an “atypical, early-eluting peak” in their COA). Janoshik on the other hand, is able to identify those fillers, and integrate them into purity calculations.

That was the case recently with a batch that tested at around 96% purity from PT. So, to confirm, what the testing group had to do was… send a sample to Janoshik. Results came back with 99% purity.
