Kind of annoys me when I see all male subjects — means the results are to be taken with a big grapefruit for me.

You have to consider the source.

Seriously though would it kill them to recruit as many women? If by the source you mean Turkey, sigh, yes, but it didn’t use to be such a backward place / culture.

And the Finding:

Caffein improves the power output and make them feel less exhausted? wow, big news. LOL

Can you put taurine into hot coffee without degrading the taurine - anyone have any thoughts?

I’ve been putting it in tea but I usually drop a few ice cubes first, then dissolve taurine (& niacin + ip6 + inositol + collagen powder + bovine colostrum) and then add more ice to turn it into ice tea. The flavor can get a bit weird so I cut it with homemade water kefir so it turns into a fermented tasting beverage with a bit of natural funk already. Very drinkable and refreshing. And I’ve been feeling extra good since I started.

Comparing data on internet search seems to indicate it wouldn’t have any significant effect in degradation. Temperatures achieved in cooking meat and boiling were the only concerns. That would be much hotter than the hot coffee we normally drink. I use the Life Extension brand taurine. It seems flavorless even in plain water, so it might be a good addition to coffee I would think without having to down it separately with something else.

The taurine adds an unpleasant taste to my coffee. But, I’ll probably get used to it. Just like I got used to the unpleasant taste of coffee…

decomposition begins at 300°C/572°F, so don’t drink your coffee too hot.

As most of us actually favour fried or cooked meat and it’s still not unhealthy, I see no problem.

My taurine is almost flavorless and dissolves easily. I can just eat a large tablespoon

I’ve done some running fueled by taurine, caffeine, THC, and EDM @ 180bpm. The combo does increase my endurance, but I tend to overdo it, especially on a beautiful night. After about an hour or so, my legs and lower back get sore, but the drive to move forward keeps me going. It’s both exciting and excessive.

Taurine is definitely one of the better tasting amino acids out there. Some are really hard to drink but taurine is fine
