After a couple of years of ordering from Anil, I’m sad to report that without prior notice he is no longer honoring reshipping for seized packages to the US. Looking for a new supplier that is willing to reship (for the cost of shipping) when a seizure happens. Suggestions appreciated

Could you please clarify why you believe the supplier should cover the cost of the U.S. seizure?

Maybe I am lucky, but I have only had one shipment seized out of over 30 shipments from India, and I attribute that one to the fact that I ordered too large a quantity, and it made for a relatively larger package size.
If I had every other order seized, I would still be well ahead financially compared to the amount I would have to pay in the US.

I never said the supplier “should” cover the cost. I merely pointed out that in the past he has and has now changed the policy without advance notice. It’s a business decision for both the supplier and the customer.

What was seized, and how much did it cost you?

He just honored a lost and or seized order I had with him. He promptly reshipped it couple days ago. The order lost/seized? was small only $92 including shipping and that might have made it easier/cheaper to replace. To be fair he is not my number one go to guy, He’s been replaced by Maulik, then jagdish, then anil
