How has this testosterone face cream gone? Did you continue?

Hahaha… here’s the update. I think it worked well… made enough to use for 3 weeks. Used it up and stopped… made another batch a few months later… used it until I ran out… just failed to make another batch. Skin was very soft after use. It was good… no issues.

Thanks for the reminder.

Will make another batch this weekend.
TBH… my face skin is in great shape for my 67 years… lol.

So, not seeing a crazy huge difference. Just solid good results. Worth it, if you have extra cypionate.

Original study and the guy promoting it uses propionate, not cypionate. I’m sure there would be some benefit to cypionate though. Given that propionate is a faster acting ester I wonder how the molecular weight of propionate impacts how deeply it is absorbed compared to cypionate, or testosterone base which is used in TRT cream?

Did you see Dr. Abs latest video on the testosterone face cream? A guy was reporting grey hairs in his beard going away. I have a few, and I hate them lol. I want to try this.

BTW have you ever tried topical retinoid like tretinoin or adapalene? If so, I’d be interested to hear a comparison of those vs this testosterone cream.

I do not think greys just go away by any means… at least not yet in general. All searches shows that the higher the testosterone, the more likely you will get graying.

In theory this cream isn’t about raising testosterone systemically to get positive effects. It’s a local effect.

I’m not saying it works or doesn’t work, I’ve just had my eye on this for a while. It’s not easy to make the cream as the ingredients are not easy to get, and it’s hard to convince a doctor to get it compounded.

I would love an anti-gray formula though, for my beard and head.

So would I, as history tells me, do not get your hopes too high… later in the year I will try stem cells and see if that does anything.

Tried the topical rapamycin cream?
Also just checked your profile to see how long you’d used rapamycin for, you say it is controlling your psoriasis?

For my psoriasis, it is 90% cleared up. I still can’t get it off the back of my ears and around my eye brows… but nothing else really. I am going to add a few more fine tuning soon. I have not used the cream recently because I am just lazy to grind up the pills.

Mine is about the same in terms of control. Just had a flare up recently, which seems to coincide with asthma. All seems to be connected.

I’ve ordered some rapamycin and I’m hopeful it comes through. In addition to the longevity mTOR pathway, I have a feeling that the immune suppressing qualities could actually be quite beneficial due to the autoimmune nature of these conditions.

Actually… will be getting a mild prescription for topical retinoid… my dermatologist thought I should try it. Saw him today… . he thought it would help fine lines. Said I could move up in strength gradually. But, he said skin my is great.

He doesn’t knowI am on rapamycin gor almost 5 years.

Tretinoin or something else? I’m about to start adapalene, it’s just been made available OTC in Australia at 0.1%

If I really like the results I might move up to the 0.3%, and may also consider tretinoin in conjunction used a few times a week in place of adapalene.

I used adapalene 0,1 % daily for 3-4 months. Then I changed to 0,1 % tretinoin and also started to use Beauty of Joseon SPF 50 Rice + Probiotics. The effect of BOJ + tretinoin 0,1 % 1-2 times a week is vastly better than 0,1 % adapalene almost daily. Almost like I found a holy grail.

How long did it take you to adapt to tretinoin? I hear it can be rough. I cbf with a prescription right now wiht this stuff so I’ll stick with 0.1% adapalene, might try 0.3% from india pharma if 0.1% goes smooth.

I did not need time to adapt to tretinoin. I had used adapalene for several months before I started tretinoin, that might have reduced my need to adapt. At first, I only used tretinoin once weekly. Then I used it on two consecutive days. (Friday and Saturday evening). That was a bit strong for my . Now I only use it once weekly and sometimes twice a week, but not on consecutive days.

@Curious Do you get any side effects using it once a week? You said you felt like you had found the holy grail. What specifically did you notice that made you feel that way?

Tretinoin and BoJ, reduced pore size, reduced fine lines, improved tone. And this, by only using those two. For now, I have stopped everything else, and I will not add anything to this simple routine. Later I will add one thing at the time. I have been prone to overdo things. (the same with supplements). I am happy with the results.

I have a bit of puffiness on my lower right eye bag… my dermatologist said try taking allergy medication with antihistamines.

Thanks to rapamycin…I no longer have allergies…past 4 years. The antihistamine seems to have given me diarrhea… past week. And puffiness is still there.

Quit antihistamines

Made up a fresh batch of testosterone lotion… Pure 200 mg 1 ml of cypionate with Palmer’s lotion… it absorbs fast.

Going to give it a try for the next week.
Will update you on this.

Hi, Agetron. Have you tried quercetin? Mild corticosteroid creams could help locally. Could be low-grade irritation or inflammation unrelated to histamine (->skin barrier).

Yes, taking quercetin nightly.

Hadn’t thought of cortisone as a possibility.

Will try it.

Thanks.
