If there was any doubt before, virtually of these US peptide sellers don’t actually manufacture anything, they simply buy the finished product from the world’s manufacturing center. Their QC is obviously terrible or non-existent. I think I’ve said that somewhere else, but: do not buy from single vial peptide vendors. Your ability to test and ensure you get the right product is very limited when you do so. The COAs provided by vendors are nice, but cannot be trusted.

Yea I’m pretty stringent on needing to see 3rd party lab testing before ordering these days.

To add on to what he said:
“I need to be fair on Peptide Sciences. They have given me a credit for $450. Covers the testing cost and $100. As well, they sent replacements for my Reta bottles out today overnight.”
I still will be ordering elsewhere but it looks like they are at least admitting fault and apologizing.

While that is very nice, I would only be impressed if they immediately sent out replacement bottles and an informative email to everyone who has ordered it, even those who have no clue they have a fake in their possession.
Now, THAT would be impressive. Taking care of the guy who caught it, while nice for him, does not impress me in the least.

I’ve personally tried these GLP based variations attempting to find the sweet spot for myself:
- Triz 4 mg / week divided over two doses of 2 mg. This was great at lowering my fasting glucose (upper 70s to lower 80s), A1C (4.9) and helped me have total control over what I ate but left me a bit fatiqued as the negative.
- Reta 3mg / week divided over two doses of 1.5 mg. Fasting blood glucose and A1C went back to normal (lower 90s and 5.2). So Reta is not great for glucose control in my situation. There was no fatigue. Food choices were totally under my control.
- Reta 1 mg and Triz 2 mg. This combination is giving me great fasting glucose and A1C (upper 70s and 4.9). There is no fatigue. Food choices are totally under my control.
This last combination of (Triz 2mg + Reta 1mg) per week appears like it’s the best of what I’ve tried so far. Just an N=1.

Are you staggering these doses during the week? I wonder how it would be with 2mg reta and 1mg tirz?
Also, did you lose weight/fat on the above combinations, and if so which seems most effective for you? Thanks

Hi Davin8r,
For dosing, the current protocol is 2 mg Triz on Tuesday and then 1 mg Reta on Friday.
I’m pretty lean already at 12% body fat per my last Dexa in Jan after 3 months of Triz at 4 mg. I’m guessing I’m a bit lower in BF now. I’m not trying to loose weight but to put on muscle and maintain the low BF. Traditionally my body wants to naturally be at around 15-18% body fat. Since starting the GLP1 protocols the set point on body fat is 10-12% at current dosing. With weight training and eating as much as I can of a healthy diet (high protein, vegetables, high fiber, healthy fats, low to medium carbs) I’m trying to gain muscle while staying low fat.
With all 3 of those protocols I have to eat more than normal to prevent from loosing weight. It would be easy on all 3 protocols to eat way less and if I wanted to loose weight. I think all 3 are equal in terms of weight loss for me personally; perhaps reta is the best. My goals with GLP1 are more glucose control, potential other longevity benifits (kidney, heart, Alzheimers, osteoarthritis), body composition improvement and to have an easy time to eat very healthy. The GLP1’s for me make eating food more functional than pleasure based. Lean boneless/skinless chicken and vegetables vs juicy burger/fries are both equal to me under the GLP1 so I always go with the chicken and veg.

Not just third party lab tested, because these guys don’t trace their peptides at a lot level. I need lot level info and tested by end customers by a reputable lab (Janoshik), that is why I prefer buyers groups.

Cremieux is DA retatrutide guy…
I finally did an injection to kill a hunger pang, like 4mg, it feels way better than semaglutide, still need several days to see how long it really lasts
Also, I can still like eat if I need to
But like half a day later and I can still be hungry enough to need food, maybe not a large amount…
Reta is super popular among cremieux and his crowd now.

I’ve been using both Tirz (first 6 months) and/or Reta for nearly 2 years now.
Did a combo in the switching process with 50/50 for 1 month of acclimation and no combo the next month. Easy peasy
Fully acclimated to Reta and maintaining my goal weight of 142lb perfectly on a weekly dose of 2.5mg.
Tirz is a great “starter” and I start most of my local clients on Tirz. When they get to their goal weight I typically suggest switching to Reta. Some like it,. some don’t and the beauty of that is you can always switch back.
For those who have a hard time controlling their “urges” and feel that is too difficult, they often stay with Tirz. For those who want less appetite suppression and want to feel a bit more “normal” when it comes to food choices, Reta seems to allow that without issue.
I do like a nice steak and I found on Tirz I could not enjoy that experience, with Reta I can enjoy a bigger meal once in a while with none of that “too full” effect I got with Tirz.
Reta is my personal go-to

A supplier/nexaph that I’ve bought from are disputing this website/lab results. They are saying the batch quoted on finnrick website has been testing several times on Jano and shows purity of over 99.5% whereas in here it is showing 97%. My question is how reliable is this finnrick.com to best of anyone’s knowledge and could they have been doing the dirty trick for the vendors that showed “great” results. Everywhere on the web i hear good words about Jano, never heard or ran into Finnrick?
I second @Steve_Combi observation. I always tell people coming from semaglutide or tirzepatide: if you want to suppress hunger, stick with semaglutide/tirzepatide. If you want to lose more weight, stick with retatrutide. People mistake substantial hunger suppression with weight loss, these are not the same thing.
Reta might take time to work if you’re coming from other GLP1’s but after 4 weeks at 4mg or more, you should see some results.

That concept is something I deal with every day.
I often want to tell those who don’t get enough reduction in “food noise” to use a bit more self control
These peptides are amazing but we do need to become more responsible for what we do in this process.
It does take time to adapt both physically and mentally to these peptides so I’m patient with my clients while they go through their individual processes.
Personally, I’ll be taking a GLP1 for the rest of my life, not just for the weight management but for the other long term benefits.

I don’t trust anything I see from them. They are not a lab, they outsource to labs. One of the biggest issues I see with them is the labs they contract to do the tests. Some of the labs in their list have been found to not be able to identify compounds correctly, or to have the mass completely wrong. They are viewed with extreme skepticism in the gray world because of this and other issues.
There are maybe 2 American labs who I would consider OK to use, but I only test with Janoshik. I would not rely on results from the rest of them for my safety.

Every real peptide manufacturer I deal with provides/guarantees 98%,.not 99%
People get hung up on these numbers when they don’t even know what they mean nor how they are measured or what is being measured.
The manufacturers know that 98% is all that is required BUT their products often test higher, sometimes a bit lower. Getting hung up on 1% or 2% difference is not based on the science. I’ve been asked “what about that 2%, will it make me sick?” of course not.
Lets say you are on a high dose of 10mg a week, at 98% that means 0.2mg is something besides the the fully bonded peptide. That “something” can be the constituent parts that are not bonded, those constituent parts are harmless amino acids.
You need a $2,000 scale to measure 0.2 mg, it’s basically meaningless.
BUT it is marketing, “mine is more pure that yours” is the mantra that sells
If it tested at less than 95% I’d be concerned but not terribly concerned.

I have seen testimonials of people that have binge eating disorders rave about the suppression semaglutide provides. Some of them are at goal weight and on other GLP1s, they use a small dose of semaglutide to curb the overeating. People also rave about the suppression of cagrilintide, the amylin agonist from Novo.

You better watch what you do with this one. It cripples you for days if you mix the dose or you do a higher dose. I started with 1.5mg (I had misread someone’s suggestion of starting at 0.15mg and couldn’t eat absolutely nothing for 2 days (only drank water) and barely be able to move for about a week with severe weakness and muscle pain. So yeah, this one is VERY powerful. I use it now if I stall with Reta or Tirze for couple weeks. Then I add about 0.3mg of Cagri (in addition to Reta or tirze) and the losing streak starts again. Actually I think it is a very useful combo so you basically stay at say 5mg Tirze (instead of going to next level of Tirze) and add 0.3 cagri and you’d keep losing weight quite fast with it without the need to up the dose with Reta or Tirze.

I felt pins and needles as side effect, also fatigue after. It’s not super super unpleasant but it still hurt my productive for several days (could have been other things)
I did not notice a huge decrease in calorie consumption - I am hungry for a smaller portion of the day and end up eating some more during those small periods of high hunger. Still enough of a decrease that it might make an impt enough dif (b/c losing 200 to 300 calories per day is enough for metabolic benefit). But not sure if it’s worth the side effect profile esp if AGI timelines are short.

But here’s the thing, either they didn’t know or they didn’t care (until someone found out on thier own). When you do gray market you are injecting unknown substances into your body, bypassing the liver, basically giving your body zero chance to protect you from anything bad. He is LUCKY it was just tirz. It could have been literally anything.
