Is there any experience on this board for [
ProBoost™ Thymic Protein A
](ProBoost Thymic Protein A, 4 mcg 30 packets - Life Extension)
Does it really work?
The consensus on this board seems to be that oral versions of Thymic Protein A (like ProBoost) probably have very limited bioavailability vs injectible peptides like TA-1 (which contains the key immune boosting fragment of Thymic Protein A).
Also the dosage of ProBoost (4 mcg per day) is suspiciously low compared to injectable TA-1 (typically taken as 1.6mg every 3 days), even if you ignore the low bioavailability of oral dosage.
The only advantage of Thymic Protein A is that it is the complete (bioequivalent) protein, so may have benefits not present in peptide fragments like TA-1. So I hedge my bets and take both Thymic Protein A (sublingual powder) and TA-1.
