How often do you plan to repeat the course? Twice yearly, etc?

I will start my 45 day DAV cure in one week time.
I understand some have suspended Rapa, while others continue to use it together with DAV. Would be interested for your rationale both ways please.

@AnUser You gotta give it up. There is a religious like zealotry going on here. You wonât be able to convince anyone to think differently. Just sit back and be amused by the bro science experiment.

You are not going to like my reply to you.
You are on here think you know more than most, because you are a âphysicianâ, you DO NOT.
You are a produced product of the Western Medical Establishment. Wear blinders not looking or even considering other view.
You are a MD and?
Do you have a PhD in bio chemistry, immunology or pharmacology?
Do you work in a real research lab and get you hands dirty?
How many paper have you published?
You think the bastions of knowledge in medicine are from the FDA / Western Medical System?
They are not, they never will be.
Your opinion, comment and views are just as invalid as everyone else of very little value unless a person takes time to verify, and take real critical thinking without bias opinion and comments to make a decision.
A well known âcelebrityâ doctor who can send his mother for treatment to anyone on this planet sent his own mother to Turkey for treatment.
Dr. Oz, what that says about Western Medical thinking speaks volumes.

You are correct the majority of MD in the Western Medical System are part of a religion.

So when did you start DAV?
@Joseph Please be respectful of our medical professionals here. They have spent a lifetime practicing medicine and working with patients to solve their health problems using the best ways to their knowledge.
I think they deserve a lot of respect for this. Please do not denigrate them or the profession.
They also have a lot more experience treating health problems than those of us who are not. No matter how many scientific papers you read, you will never have the same amount of practical experience they have.
And just remember that between 10-75% of the papers you are putting your trust in are fraudulent to begin with. (Depending on your source)
Donât be the pot calling the kettle black. I think @KarlT provides a lot of useful insights here and I for one value his opinions.
Since you only have one life to live, I suggest you be a little more cautious for your own sake.

DAV update: Day 9 I am tapping out. The reason is I feel my GI and gut microbiome are taking a hit. My poop is off, belly doesnât feel right and I believe some body and joint inflammation is occurring as a result. I tried to keep things in check with non-dairy yogurt and probiotic supplements. This could all be placebo and unrelated but my personal risk reward calculus is flashing red. I will fall back to doxy on Rapa dose day only. Good luck to all who are doing DAV I hope your experience is or continues to be better than mine.

Probably the azithromycin. Iâve used it a couple times in the past to treat bacterial infections. My gut microbiome felt off as well. I used some probiotics for a few days and it returned to normal. Good luck.

@Joseph your response was exactly what I expected. My post wasnât directed to you, you incorrectly assumed that I inferred a negative connotation to the term Bro Science, and youâre anti authority so youâll disagree with most of what I say.
But I glad you had the opportunity to vent some of your hostility.

The point is even though someone is a doctor doesnât mean that they are up on the latest or even the oldest evidence of the therapeutic effect of any medication. We have demonstratively proved that by the forum members, including me when it came to getting doctors to prescribe rapamycin.
So, when doctors and others bring up outlier studies of azithromycin involving sick people taking other drugs and/or stem cell treatments etc. It serves no useful purpose, in fact, quite the contrary.
âThe World Health Organization lists azithromycin as one of the safest drugs for any national health system [20]. Indeed, over the last several decades, its administration for respiratory diseases [21,22] has resulted in few short-term side effects relative to other antibiotics, even in pregnant women and childrenâ
âArthur E. Girard and Gene Michael Bright, together with PLIVAâs Slobodan Djokic (posthumously) and Gabrijela Kobrehel, received in 2000 the American Chemical Societyâs award of âHeroes of Chemistry who have promoted human welfare in the area of healthâ for their discovery of ZithromaxÂź (azithromycin).â

What is the meaning of bro science?

Bro Science is a term for misinformation circulated among men, usually body-building claims not backed by science.Jul 23, 2018
I am starting my DAV experiment tomorrow. If I have read the report correctly this should be my schedule. If anyone thinks I have misinterpreted the schedule wrongly, please comment.
I am not interested if you think the DAV experiment is not a good idea.
