Or is it still an issue because 70%normal of GFR kidneys are still AGED kidneys and wouldn’t have the lifespan of 100 percent fully healthy kidneys even if there were one half of them?

Things like diet and BP should be monitored, but a GFR of 70 is pretty good. If you have two kidneys at 100% and donate one of them, the other kidney will usually compensate for the loss. A large percentage of donors have a GFR of 60 or higher.
