Reading this protocol is a nice summary of evidence to date for the use of Rapamycin to treat/prevent Alzheimer’s. I couldn’t find that someone else had posted this study protocol that came out in April 2024.

Very interesting, thanks for posting. As an ApoE4 homozygote I’m keeping my fingers crossed that rapamycin has a positive effect

This study will provide us longevity types a fair bit of information when it’s completed.
It’s design is very close to what many use as a longevity intervention and it has a lot of good references for those who are new to Rapa.

Any preliminary results so far? They must be in the end stages at this point.
Nice reference, thanks for posting this. I wish they’d be a bit more aggressive or target to blood levels on this study. Hopefully they are using coated tablets and having them take with fatty foods. 6 months is a short time, but the biomarker approach is certainly a decent surrogate for disease progression.
