Probably this is the most valuable thing in the rejuvenating protocol!

Yeah I skipped on buying DOP, which I am glad of as I bought two bottles of IGP where the first ingredient was grape must and second vinegar. I’m glad since it seems I can’t use it in large quantities.

Although I enjoyed the food, thinking about it does make me sick indeed.

Vinegar is one of those things that you MUST buy organic(unless you want to use it for cleaning the house, which some people do), especially knowing that cost is not an issue since a 1/2L bottle will last you ages.

I suspect this guy will live longer than many who are neurotic about diet and lifestyle:

He eat mostly fast food, and cooks $2 steaks even though he has a lot of money. He clearly eats in moderation because of his weight, avoiding obesity and the lots of problems from that. Like Aubrey De Grey, who probably eats junk food too.

Money will pay for future longevity/healthspan improving drugs.

Also not being neurotic about food and enjoying it is the Warren Buffett approach, extraordinary longevity and health it seems (probably with some longevity drugs like statins).

+1 point to the hedonistic longevity people!

Don’t you think thee might be a third option, something between hedonistic popping pill diet and extreme diet approach like BJ or Michael Gregor.
From recent books I read on diet Luigi Fontana’s approach is the most sustainable and if you cheat once in a while probably totally doable for life.

$2 steaks? when was that in early 1900’s lol. Went to costco the other day and a roast beef cut was like $99 (6, or 7lbs probably, don’t remember) . Used to get it for $30-$40 just couple years back. Surprisingly stop and shop where I buy my 12OZ organic steaks has barely raised the price. Used to get it for $12.99 (already expensive but worth it in my opinion) for as long as I can remember (like at least 4-5 years ago) and now it is only $13.49. The price is already high, but considering I only eat organic, I’m happy that the price is relatively unchanged. Anything else beef related it is like 200-300% up, while pork and chicken is little changed. I guess steak will soon become a luxury or something you can afford to buy once month or so.

I count myself in the hedonistic category because I binge drink from time to time and eat almost full english breakfasts every day. On the other hand I do limit my total food consumption (although I have a problem that when drunk I am much worse at not overeating).

I eat dark chocolate, but there are so many reasons why chocolate is a good source of nutrition and I eat a relatively small amount (apart from when drunk).

I think it’s these steaks he eats/ate, it seems to have increased a bit, $2.3 per steak now:

It doesn’t feel good to be overweight I guess, or be in a massive caloric surplus. So it does make sense to limit total food consumption. I find eating few meals a day to be helpful in that regard.

As a snack a bit of pickled beetroot or some pickled onions is not a bad idea. I also aim for a bigger breakfast than the other meals, but from time to time I go out to a restaurant with my family or others.

That actually sounds good. Even the Buddha would prefer ice cream, and sitting in the shade.

My guilty pleasure right now is hummus and crackers. I have about 5-10 wheat crackers slathered with hummus when I get home from work. Yum!

That tides me over until dinner. Dinner over here is 7:30-8:00 pm.

It does sound good if you replace the crackers with french fries, and the hummus for some high fat dipping sauce. Just saying.

You need to write a book titled “The Charlie Munger / Warren Buffet Longevity Diet” (and include the McDonald’s protocol
