I think this company is really interesting. I encourage other people to check it out. The founder, Michael Forrest (see his Linkedin Profile) is a guy out of Cambridge University (Biology and Computer Science background) and is working hard at making the company move forward. I don’t know him personally, but I find his work compelling and interesting. A possible investor opportunity for people interested in helping move the science forward:

Very interesting, but I’ll be really surprised if there is no down side to doing this. We’ve been here a very long time and if changing the temp down a degree or two made us work better it would have happened already.

yes… but. We control our environment a lot more than throughout most of evolutionary history. A lower body temperature might have made us more likely to perish when we were living on the savanah, or in caves, much less so in today’s modern world. Anyway, downsides are always a possibility, but need to be determined in clinical trials.
