I had CBC blood test prior to restarting Rapa and noticed CBC two weeks later WBC went from 6.6 to 4.5. Could be some implication of immune sufficiency. Anyone else monitoring that?
I see no correlation. There are many variables affecting WBC.
Coincidently my WBC rose when I started taking rapamycin, but after 2 ½ years of taking rapamycin, I donāt see any correlation.

Mine also dropped from 5.1 to 3.1 but I have no other symptoms of decreased immunity. Planning to have another set of labs soon

Yes, more data may of interest. Those getting lab tests are encouraged to follow up post here if they wish.

Mine are down from the 7 range to around 4 except when I had covid and they went back up to 7 temporarily.

My WBC was 3.1 2 years before starting rapa. It was 4.5 1 year ago after 7 months on rapa. Now itās 3.8 after nearly 2 years on rapa.

I always thought this was a commonly known effect of rapa? One shouldnāt expect any change in immunity with wbc in the 2-3 k range, that should bump up to 10k and higher in the setting of a true bacterial infection.

I have gone really low without rapa recently and am currently still under 2. This causes a weekly conversation with the lab who are required to alert me.

Maybe Iām confused but I though you had said you are taking high doses infrequently?
So your wbc count is under 2k and you arenāt taking rapa? I wouldnāt say a wbc under 3 is ānormalā just that I wouldnāt expect it to decrease immunity until it got significantly lower. However, it could be an indication it is continuing down and worth rechecking. There are all sorts of environmental exposures that can make wbc counts go up and down (as evidenced by @desertshores graph above). Viral infections are notorious for suppressing wbc counts. When it gets low like that the absolute neutrophil count (ANC) becomes an important number on the differential and Iād get concerned about bacterial infections if it were anywhere close to 500. Neutrophils usually make up around 55% to 70% of the wbc.
That said iād be looking for a cause if my wbc was below 2 and I didnāt have an explanation. I know you have a fair amount of scientific/medical knowledge judging by your posts here so maybe you know all of this? You might want to check in with your doctor and troubleshoot it together.
