I am looking for a lab that tests drugs for individuals as opposed to just businesses. I feel like someone mentioned one on here somewhere but cant remember where.
Thanks!

Thank you @RapAdmin for the edit! :grinning: I was pretty tired last night

Thank you! Appreciate it!

Sorry. I misread your question. No, Marek tests blood for an individual. I dont know of a lab that will test compounds for an individual

Well darn it. I just went to their website and was going to tell you that. But thanks for taking the time just the same :grinning:

Janoshik (excellent)

MZ Biolabs (excellent, inexpensive)

Analiza Bialek (excellent)

Prime Analytical Labs

Analyx Biolabs

Chromate (last choice, okay for simple things but not as competent as others)

I have used Janoshik and Chromate, and have gotten quotes from MZ Biolabs

Thanks so much! I am going to start a list. I appreciate your reply!

Youā€™re looking for analytical chemistry labs focused on pharmaceuticals and supplements. They are not typically very inexpensiveā€¦ $500 to $1000 for a basic hplc analysis. I donā€™t think itā€™s worth the trouble now that we have so many data points of people using these drugs from India.

Itā€™s more along the lines of $200 for hplc on a pharma drug.

Agreed. I was just thinking of the future. i know of folks who have ordered a large amount of a drug or peptide from overseas and since it came from the same batch they all went in together and each paid a portion and sent a sample from their stash. Thats really the only way it would be practical, at least for me. But good to know as I was wondering about the cost and thanks!

Better still, so yay!

Ah, you didnā€™t say peptides before. Peptides can cost a bit more, say up to $300 depending. Just shop around.

It actually would be for rapa, not a peptide. What is hplc please? I contacted Janoshik and he quoted me $380 for quantity and purity testing. Am going to ask for quotes from other labs also. A group of us over in peptide land were thinking of going in together for a group buy in the future. If there were 10 of us we could spit the cost of testing 10 ways

Interesting because my quotes from him were much lower.

Is this for pills or powder?

I had to go back and double check but yes, he quoted me 380 for rapamycin, didnt specify if pills or powder. I asked him to test for purity and that was the quote he gave me. When I asked how much more to test for quantity (how many mg) he said that was included. (?) Dang, i like your quote better. I did this just a few days ago.

I was asking if you are trying to test pills or powder. Iā€™m not sure why you would test pills when we know what brands are good, so I assume youā€™re looking to test powder, in which case quantity doesnā€™t make sense. If you didnā€™t specify powder, theyā€™re probably assuming pills, and that costs a lot more. I think it was less than half to have API powders tested for purity.

Since powder wonā€™t have good bioavailability, youā€™re probably not interested in ingesting it, in which case itā€™s unclear why you need to purity test it in the first place. Perhaps you want confirmation of its identity. That would make sense.

Take a pill and put it in vinegar. If it dissolves within 30 minutes it is not coated. If it remains intact for over an hour it is most likely enteric-coated.

Was asking to test pills, yes. And that is what i am unclear on. Coming from peptide land I guess what i need to know is this-
With lyophilized peptides, each batch is tested for quantity (mg.) and purity as they can and do vary sometimes and it is a safe practice to always checkā€¦ My assumption was that pills also come in batches and can vary so same precautions should be taken. Am I assuming wrong? Would love to learn a bit more about this! Thanks!

Just buy a good brand of pills and testing will be unnecessary. Pfizer, Eris/Biocon, or Zydus. Spend money on good brands instead of testing.
