By “very large” what are you talking about? How much?

Have you asked about samples? Look in the fine print for MOQ or samples or just contact and ask. All the API suppliers will ship a small sample if you tell them you need to test the product before placing a larger order.
Here is one example. 10g minimum, which is enough to last you 6 years. Get a sample, send it out for testing, proceed. Testing and shipping will be your biggest expenses, but you’re probably only out $400 or so for your multi-year supply.
Hubei Vanz doesn’t produce the best quality peptides, but that’s harder than powders. There are plenty of other options if you search the CAS.

I’m interested in 17 Alpha Estradiol as a potential longevity option. I would appreciate any updates from men who have done it. What are the longer term effects have been especially considering that it is over 6 months since any updates in this thread. It looks like it is possible to get ELL-Cranell with Alphatradiol from Germany. Have there been any feminization effects? Thanks in advance.

@DrEcsta It’s been a while since you last posted, hope all is well with you, but this thread is in desperate need of an update from you (since you were the pioneer in researching 17 Alpha Estradiol). Your input on this subject would be very much appreciated.

Kelman, Dr. Ecsta’s last post was over two and a half years ago. Others have asked him for updates just like you have and received no response. So, I think it’s safe to say that he has moved on to other things.
This thread seems to have great potential, but so far there have been no clear reports from anyone on methods and results.

17 Alpha Estradiol seems to be one of the biggest known longevity interventions for men (Rapa, Acarbose and 17 A E). It’s unfortunate that this group has not found a good way to implement it. I will be in Europe in March and will go to Germany if necessary to get some Ell-Cranell Alfatradiol which is available over the counter there.

I just want to remind the thread that 16 alpha-hydroxyestradiol was earlier discovered to be estriol and the lifespan increase effects in the ITP (15% in males) were comparable to 17 Alpha Estradiol.
Check this thread out:
And the alfastradiol hair products are A. loaded with solvents like isopropanol and various excipients so it wouldn’t be ideal for systemic use B. have extremely low doses of the 17 A E 2 inside it (not even close to ITP), and C. are meant to be applied to the scalp which is an extremely poor area for systemic administration. Very pure and low in excipient/solvent estriol gel would be much easier to aim for. Or obviously getting prescription estriol gel/caps would be best.
And finally, I found some info earlier showing comparative absorption rates in different areas of administration:
Hydrocortisone Solution Absorption Rates:
- Scrotum: 42.0
- Jaw Angle: 13.0
- Forehead: 6.0
- Underarm: 3.6
- Scalp: 3.5
- Back: 1.7
- Palm of the Hand: 0.8
- Ankle: 0.4
- Sole of the Foot: 0.1

I wrote Dr. Ecsta directly by email and he responded back:
I was using 17 Alpha Estradiol for about six months and have since discontinued it.
I did not experience any specific side effects. Regarding metabolic health, all subsequent comprehensive tests showed normal results. I am currently 41 years old, and my VO2 MAX(~55) and other fitness indicators are consistent with someone in their early to mid-thirties. I am in excellent overall health.

Thanks @RapAdmin for the great work you do on these boards. From the list you posted (42 compounds) I guess there is few other substances to experiment with. So, for now I’ve decided to not pursue the 17 A Estradiol, but I am cautiously starting many others on the list. This is what I’ve decided on and have started using regularly in last few days:
- Accarbose-50mg twice a day with lunch and dinner (regardless of type of food)
- Rapamycin once daily with spoon of EVOO (Monday 2mg, Tuesday-Friday 1mg, no weekends)
- Empa 8mg or Cana 100 mg with dinner
- Metformin 500mg before bed
- Captopril 25mg-50mg daily
- UDCA 300mg daily
- Daily Glycine with coffee about 5-10g (replacing sugar)
- 4.5mg of LDN each evening
- 6mg Tirze or 4mg Reta weekly (still need to lose about 10-15lbs, will decrease dose when ideal weight reached)
- 3IU Growth hormone five days a week
- 250mcg HCG three times weekly
- 5mg Cialis daily/mornings
- 100mg DHEA daily
- 10mg Ezetimibe daily
- 2mg Pita daily
Light to moderate exercise 3-4 times weekly.
I have plenty of supplements and might do some of them sparingly (as needed) but not focusing heavily on sups for the moment.
So far zero side effects, and I feel noticeably better than before starting this regimen (better than I have felt in last 20 years or so). Intend to do blood tests every six months (did one 3 weeks ago prior to starting most of the items on the list). Still contemplating on doing everything Mon-Friday and stay free of all substances on weekends (to let body adjust/cleanup)
edit. I could not help but notice how cheap all these amazing substances are when sourced from India, everything for less than $5 a day. It would literally be over $100 per day if bought in USA (out of reach for most people). Uneffing real…

Are these with prescriptions or have you found a trustworthy source, otherwise? Thanks.

Nothing in the list is with prescription. for peptides and Glp1’s I get the supplier info mainly on GLP1 forums. Plenty of choices and I usually buy from ones that have USA warehouses since it is easier to order and faster.

Agree 100% that @RapAdmin is outstanding at moderating/adminsitering this board. Thank-you!
My order of Ell-Cranell with Alfatradiol has shipped. I have some male pattern baldness and will apply to my scalp with transcutol if it arrives. I will monitor hormone levels after a couple months. 17 A E is one of the best longevity options for men from the ITP studies, and is worth a try.

Thanks for this information. Estriol cream is available over the counter from Amazon and might be another option as you has suggested.

In fact, I am finding there are relatively few very pure creams out there OTC. I asked chatGPT 5.1 for the purest estriol gels that were available:
Short answer: there really isn’t a truly “just estriol in a super-simple gel” product you can buy OTC in the US; that kind of minimalist gel is basically a compounding-pharmacy thing (and needs an Rx).
But going through what’s currently purchasable online, the cleanest, least-fussy estriol cream I can actually find (no Rx, paraben-free, relatively short ingredient list) is:
1. Platt Wellness Estriol Cream 2.5 mg (my “purest OTC” pick)
Why this one?
-
Relatively short ingredient list: water, coconut oil, shea butter, stearic acid, stearyl alcohol, isopropyl palmitate, allantoin, carbomer, “Herbal-Active” natural preservative blend, sodium bicarbonate, aloe juice, estriol, potassium sorbate. Platt Wellness
-
No parabens, no added fragrance, no soy, no EDTA (they explicitly state paraben-free, fragrance-free, etc.). Platt Wellness
- The base is mostly simple emollients and a standard carbomer gel-cream system rather than a big forest of botanicals or PEGs.

2. Life Extension “Estriol-Care” – good, but slightly busier
Why it’s decent but not quite as bare-bones:
- Also paraben-free and designed as a general estriol body cream. Life Extension
- Ingredients: purified water, glycerin, shea butter, caprylic/capric triglyceride, sunflower oil, aloe gel, stearic acid, glyceryl stearate, isopropyl palmitate, stearyl alcohol, phenoxyethanol + caprylyl glycol (preservatives), estriol, evening primrose oil, lecithin, potassium sorbate, Cimicifuga racemosa (black cohosh) root, sodium bicarbonate. Life Extension
- So: still fairly sane, but uses phenoxyethanol and throws in extra “active” botanicals (evening primrose, black cohosh).

3. Emerita Estriol Natural Balancing Cream – very widely available, a bit more “creamy”
Why you might consider it:
-
No parabens, mineral oil, or petroleum; vitamin-E-rich base; fragrance-free. All Star Health
- Ingredients: water, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), aloe juice, safflower oil, glycerin, sweet almond oil, panthenol, cetyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, stearic acid, sodium behenoyl lactylate, estriol, carbomer, potassium hydroxide, phenoxyethanol, caprylyl glycol, sorbic acid. All Star Health
- So again: decent, but a bit more complex and uses phenoxyethanol.

Thanks for this information. If I may ask, have you tried any of these products, or some other one?
I haven’t really tried most of these. I mainly looked through the ingredient lists because a lot of the OTC creams have way more additives than people expect, and Platt’s looked like the cleanest of the easily available ones. A better one would be Aspen’s Evalon cream, but that is a prescription product where I am at.

I received the Pantostin with 0.25% Alfatradiol yesterday from 24Chemist in Portugal. It took only 8 days from the time I placed the order. They ship to US only with Fedex International Expedited. No tariff paid. This product contains only the alpha isomer. Since I have some male pattern alopecia I will begin applying to my scalp. I’ve ordered transcutol as well (delivery pending) that will enhance transcutaeuous absorption.

Interesting that you are doing this in conjunction with Enclomiphene. My concern with that is that you might override the inhibition by Enclomiphene at the hypothalamus if estrogen levels became too high from exogenous sources. Do you have any further updates since your posts here in March?
