The average gastric emptying time is 4 hours, but the image shows that the ‘DRcaps capsule has left the stomach and releases its contents in the intestine’ at 1 h 45 min, and releasing it in the stomach at the 50 min mark. The other subjects also had a low gastric emptying time.
If you had rapamycin then you would start releasing it at 50 minutes in the stomach, which wouldn’t be bioavailable.
So what you need to do when taking an enteric coated capsule is like he said in the reddit comment, take it on an empty stomach (fasted), drink a bunch of water and workout to increase gastric emptying time.
This is good news because these capsules if you find a good one should work just you have to be mindful how you take them. That opens up things. He probably didn’t mention this before because he was selling enteric coated tablets

What I found interesting is 6 of the eight subjects had release in the small intestines, and 3 of them didn’t start release until the capsules entered the small intestines. In 2 of the eight subjects, full release occurred in the stomach. And they’d all eaten something. And the longest time spent in the stomach was 1hr 40min; significantly less than the 4hrs cited in the info you linked.
The capsules I bought were inexpensive - 1000 size 1 acid resistant for $36, and 1,000 size 4 gel caps for $14. I could buy another 1000 size 0 or 00 acid resistant capsules for another $36, put the size 1’s inside, and increase the delay time for breakdown.
The drcaps I was considering would have cost about $90, for 200 each; similar larger acid resistant outside capsules and smaller gel caps inside. But they offer the drcaps in all sizes down to size 4 caps. If you wanted to nest a smaller drcap instead of a smaller gel cap inside a larger drcap, it would be ~$30-$40 more. (For those in the uk, it would be a little less, due to shipping costs.)

1st dose last sunday - 0.045mg… I was going to have my blood tested the following monday or tuesday, to see if my prep allowed it to make it past my stomach and into the small intestines, but the lab was booked until the end of the week, so I scheduled a test for the following week, for the dose next Sunday. (tomorrow!)
Notice the tiny amount in the smaller capsule. That’s a level spoonful with that tiny black spoon. The larger capsule is the acid resistant capsule so it will (hopefully) make it past the stomach and into the small intestines. It was taken with a ~20 oz drink i prepared that’s alkaline, to counter the high acidity of the stomach.
Another interesting article I found on rapamycin:

ok, so i had to cancel my labcorp blood test. which leads me to my next question - how do i get a blood test w/o a dr’s order?
never mind; i just found the answer here; it cost me $70, through marek diagnostics. i will schedule for next monday.
thanks!
