Warning, once you go AS (Asian spf curious, ha!) you won’t go back!!! You will like it enough to wear daily… I promise you.

Note: they now make 2 options. I use the original, but last year they introduced the aqua version. That one is ideal of you like less moisture. They are very very similar to each other and I could use aqua if I wanted to. My husband who hates all spf said the aqua is the best I’ve forced him to try… btw, I’ve also smuggled in Australia’s Ultra Violette. While my eyes do tolerate it, and it’s good, I still prefer zinc to that stuff…

I’ve never used USA chemical spf because they bother my eyes. Until a couple years ago, I had no desire to use chemical spf because I thought zinc was as effective, but apparently it’s not. Until then, and until I learned spf 30 was not enough, I blissfully only used josh rosebrook tinted spf 30 which was the perfect moisturizer, makeup, and zinc spf combo for me.

The only stick I like is Bloomeffects spf 50. It’s clear and goes on gorgeously and not thick like most sticks… and you pay for the privilege :). I mostly use it if I’m out for a hike to top off. It’s nice enough to use on my face daily, but I would just rather use a tinted zinc lotion that is easier to apply and is one and done. Nothing like concealer. I also have their ever-so-slightly tinted spf 50 in a bottle. I’d really only use that if zinc blocked all the waves like the chemical spfs do.

I could definitely have you try a bunch of USA zinc lotions that are not thick and gross like your stick… and for chemical, there are some out there that are supposedly well loved too (Trader Joe’s and supergoop), but with BOJ, there is just no need to go down that road… for that $15, you most likely won’t even need moisturizer… so it’s 2 in 1 and therefore really not pricey… and cheaper than the LDM that you won’t need if you wear daily spf

Let me know what you think!

She started using it just recently. Her patients like it. I personally would like to wait more for more obvious results. Did you start using yours?

Haha well that ship has sailed as I already ordered it. It’s funny how I can splurge on devices but be a super cheap ass on topicals. That’s mostly because I view the latter as money lit on :fire: and never have any cosmetics save gold bond, cerave, or Eucerin moisturizers and now $2 tubes of tret from India. I don’t even wash my face most days and prefer makeup removal wipes. But the right sunscreen that I’ll keep wearing is worth it. Can’t stand the chemical ones either. They burn at the eye and I’m not sure they’re even protecting as they should. So I’ll order your fancy witchcraft in a fancy bottle and let you know .

Nope won’t get to me for another month as I wanted to save on shipping. The thing about it is it should ideally be used twice a week so clients better be loving it to keep going to the salon. But if you own it it becomes easier. I actually really enjoy using my devices. I don’t love the time commitment or my husband’s side eye when he’d rather we watch some Netflix but the process itself I really enjoy. It kind of excites me. So I do use them — so long as they’re effective— and don’t mind something great for my skin needing to be done 2x a week. It’s the opposite with exercise. Lucky those who actually enjoy the process!

I 100% respect selective splurging … it’s a smart financial plan!!!

Instead of wipes, might I suggest something like these…
They feel wonderful on the skin, they are the perfect size for one use, and you don’t technically even need cleanser (I use cleanser)

(Some colors on sale for $15)

Ooooh! I might just try those but my Burt’s Bees wipes will probably be the mainstay in my house as I get my daughters to use them too (in default of washing their dirty faces).

Strange but none of the products listed under the Stylevana website as Beauty of Joseon products are on Beauty of Joseon Sunscreens.
