Pretty sure this got sent to you instead of the thread starter Mac. I will make she this question gets to him. Thanks
Just reply to one of his posts above, or add the @MAC statement in the body of your question so that he gets an alert.
@MAC are you still buying from china? How are results?
I’ve purchased from his same supplier (some powder) - its about $60/gram. The product seems fine… I use it for toothpaste and skin cream. Mac used it for injection (and he’s still alive and kicking). I wouldn’t use it to consume orally just because I’m concerned about possible contaminants, but everyone has their own risk/reward profile.

Hi there
This is great advice thank you.
How do you apply it as a skin cream please?
Also have you purchasedfrom india for oral use?
Or do you recommend local pharmacy only? Im in Australia
Thanks
Here is how you make the rapamycin skin cream: DIY Rapamycin skin cream
You mix it in with a good skin cream (e.g. Cerave, Cetaphil, Aquaphor, etc.) then spread it on your face, or part of your body you want to help your skin.
Yes - I’ve purchased from India for oral use. See our list of online pharmacies here: 在线购买雷帕霉素 - 可靠药店列表
But - I’ve also heard its a little harder to get delivered in Australia. Search our forums on “Australia” and you can read other people’s experiences: Search results for 'australia rapamycin' - Rapamycin Longevity News
There is at least one doctor in Australia prescribing rapamycin: Rapamycin Prescription, Doctors that Prescribe It
Interesting thread. Thank you for doing an analysis on the powder. Super helpful! I’d like to confirm a couple of things:
-
Which lab in Canada who did the analysis? I’m sure some of us would like to send our tablets there to confirm them.
-
Do we need to keep our Zydus or similar pills in the refrigerator or freezer?

I thought if you use it for injection the contaminants are more harmful than ingested orally (meaning bioavailability of anything taken orally will decrease in varying degrees)?
I would expect what you say to be true… obviously I’m more concerned about contaminants that Mac was. But to be honest my real concern is the contaminants over a longer period of time (think many years). The main issue are nitrosamines - these are cancer causing contaminants that can be found with some regularity in the drugs we buy unless screened for. They specifically look for these types of nitrosamines:
Nitrosamines
NDMA: not detected
NDEA: not detected
DMF: not detected
NEIPA: not detected
NDIPA: not detected
You can see this in the Valisure drug analysis testing process as demonstrated in these test reports: Rapamycin / Sirolimus from India, Lab Test Report on Quality / Purity
I suspect a few doses of these are not going to kill you any time soon, but they build up if used over a longer period of time.

When I search this site http://www.hhdpharm.cn/en-us/ for either sirolimus or rapamycin I don’t get any hits? Do they no longer sell rapamycin powder or am I missing something?
Just email Sophia and she’ll work it out for you. For whatever reason they don’t have it on their site.

@RapAdmin So based on what you’ve seen, their powdered form retains about 70% rapam if its kept in the freezer after shipping?
Sigma Aldridge (the lab supply / chemical supply company) says store rapamycin powder at -20 C (-4 degrees Farenheit) for best storage results. Rapamycin = 95 HPLC, powder 53123-88-9
I’ve kept the powder in my freezer with no issues. I don’t know if it retains 70% effectiveness, its really hard to tell if it degrades at all at this temperature over time. Perhaps some chemists here can comment, but I think it retains almost all its effectiveness.

Thanks. This seems like a no-brainer for topical and/or toothpaste.

I lost my first 1g shipment to Customs, but ordered a 2nd shipment (I redirected from WHP to a business contact in China, who repackaged, on-forwarded to me) of 4000mg for $220 delivered, or USD, $0.055/mg. They gave me a deal on 2nd order to compensate for the lost shipment.
My contact: hhdpharm06@outlook.com (Sophia Jiang)
I am trying to get rapa into Germany. @MAC, you mentioned a contact repackaging. Is the mentioned contact sophia also doing the repackaging or someone else? What country did you ship into in EU? (EDIT: ah ok just saw it was Canada)
is @MAC still active at all here? what about @KERRY_BELL, still active here (read he also ordered powder)?
people here experience how it need to be packaged and if there are special services available for packaging or has a contact? @RapAdmin do you know something or someone?
I am looking for powder as it is way cheaper than tablets.
I have no idea how to get things into Germany, but as far as the US, the powder I’ve ordered for using in topical formulations (skin cream, etc.) the powder comes in a small brown box (about 3 inches square, regular cardboard box), and inside is a small plastic envelope with another envelope inside it, and some bubble wrap around it. A couple of grams obviously is an extremely small shipment amount; its 99% packaging.
No problems.
But it would seem that they could easily package it in a standard letter envelope for easier shipping. I recommend you contact the person at the email address you just posted (Sophia Jiang) and discuss with them and ask about their experience shipping to Germany.
@KERRY_BELL is in Spain I believe, and @Mac in Canada, so none of us have the experience that you would ideally need to answer the question about getting it into Germany.
I don’t know why you’d need to repackage it. I think its pretty discreetly packaged, but perhaps they can customize the packaging and labeling for you.
@RapAdmin, how was it declared? Germany is normally very difficult. Much much stricter than US.
In my opinion, to have a good chance to get through customs, it would need to have the right packaging. Probably a letter, I guess, or maybe hidden in something like a t-shirt and declared as such. Also, I think there might be big differences in how you ship it. I heard you have a higher chance to get past customs if you do express shipping?
@MAC said his first shipment got lost in customs and then he had a business contact repackage the second shipment. So, it would be interesting to know what exactly he did and if it was the Sophia contact or an entirely different contact not related to the company (as Sophia seems to have just been his contact to hhdpharm???).
It would be nice if someone who did it successfully in a difficult country has helpful experiences to share… Then I can tell hddpharm how to package and label.
If you or anybody knows more specifics, feel free to share…
It was a long time ago… so I’m not sure, the packaging is long gone. If I was in your situation I’d talk with the vendor (ask their experience shipping to EU countries), and do a small order ($100 to $200). That is how I first tried ordering from Indian pharmacies 6 years ago and was unsure of everything.
Of course, I know nothing of EU rules and regs. In the US customs just destroys the package if they don’t allow it through.
I ordered 5 grams because that would last me a very long time. My supplier treated it as a business package. (no vat) Shipped expensive Fedex. My package was held up in Customs until I paid VAT or given a resale number for vat purposes. The Fedex delivered to me next day. Fedex kept me informed what was happening. Customs in EU are really worried about getting the VAT. This was 3 yrs ago. Hope this helps.

Kerry, we haven’t seen you in a long time. Are you still taking rapamycin? Any other longevity therapeutics? How’s everything going for you health-wise?
