BJ constantly tinkers with his blueprint. It’s on his discord which is quite active: Blueprint discord link here and
His latest: https://blueprint.bryanjohnson.com/ where he is taking ALA instead, citing oxidation of DHA

Can you quote what you are talking about and not just link to discord channels or websites? It’s standard etiquette. You’re giving breadcrumbs here.

I think the issue is that you can’t link to a specific discord comment and share that link. (why I don’t like discord). I always prefer to have a link to the true source, so you can go back and read the context of the statement. But sure, you could copy and past comments (with a date so people can perhaps scroll back and find the discussion) from Discord to here to demonstrate a point.

I did go to Discord and searched for ‘DHA’, found nothing interesting, some people asking questions why DHA isn’t in his supplement list (which isn’t true). And the blueprint link is a link to BJ’s webshop… I guess I should just assume more often that people are drunk or high when making claims. (It might happen more often than most assume).

Review a copy of;
“PCB Reduction and Clinical Improvement by Detoxification: an Unexploited Approach?”

They used sauna, exercise and high dose nician.

Interesting - don’t have access to the full article - might skip the niacin. I usually would use similar, but optimize glutathione and sulforaphane. I’m not surprised enhanced sweating would be one way of getting untoward items excreted.
Thanks.

You could improve your chances by moving to Iowa (6th place Idaho is 40th). Check out the table.
Then again, maybe not. You could be your State’s 1 in 10,000.

That’s what’s wrong with society today, attacking people online baselessly and no respect for each other. I merely shared some quotes from Reddit and Discord about BJ and DHA, no need for this:
I may add this forum supposedly encourages sharing information of common interests,
anecdotally or source-linked (which could also be fake news these days or junk science).
My view is so long is a topic worth discussing or debating as we are all constantly evolving and tinkering our plans, posting them is a good thing. Read the post in its totality and context before jumping into an attack or dismissive mode.
FWIW, here is Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/blueprint_/comments/1au6ojd/where_do_you_stand_on_omega3_fatty_acids_and_why/
Also the debate on DHA and fish oil is not new:

You made a simple, falsifiable and contentious claim “Bryan Johnson has dropped DHA”, of which I told you it is in his supplement list and I asked you for a source. Instead of thinking whether what you said was false, you linked me his discord channel and his online shop, which the former has tens of thousands of comments, and the latter no relationship to your claim. Now you are linking me reddit which is just repeating what you said, a quote.
But it is clear now that you have no evidence for that claim and we don’t have to discuss this further as it is just an even more waste of time.

I challenge you to disprove this highlighted statement with a CURRENT source link from BJ which states DHA. And you failed to take account of any of other posts that mentioned DHA oxidation issue including the agingdoc as a context.
“falsifiable” is such a bad prosecuting word in this instance. Life is too short to respond to people like you. Please in the future for heaven’s sake, do not respond to my posting. And yes engaging with you is a mistake on my part and a waste of everyone’s time to which I apologize.
On this beautiful Saturday, I shall be out exercising and enjoying the sun. For my own mental health, I shall post much less in this forum in the future as I can not believe this baseless attack is tolerated here.
There is little DHA in vegan and he is using ALA mostly per this tweet. The interesting Q to discuss is the DHA oxidation issue raised by AgingDoc, Dr. Mason’s lab, and two other doctors per tweets in the post above.

The burden of proof is not on me, but I already told you it is in his supplement list.

I have no problem with people using weed or even drink alcohol… (@John_Hemming can be drunk many times), I never said you were, just something I should assume more often.
No, it just means this:

Hi Jonas, it does help a little to develop a little thicker skin and not be too sensitive.
I don’t think @matthost was attacking you by saying
And with @AnUser , you have to understand that’s AnUser being AnUser. Once you get to know people, you can interpret better. People here are generally great but sometimes they’re just having a bad day.

As my mom always taught me, it is not what you say, it is HOW you say it. I am a gentle soul of an extremely nice person so I apply that standard reciprocally. We are here to share knowledge and information, not to pick a statement out of context and then twist it so you can sling the other person for whatever you please. No, I expect everyone to act accordingly.
The purpose of the post about the BJ and DHA is to raise a debate on DHA oxidation and its potential harm as it is something I take every day and many others do. Why are we not debating the topic?
I have to say, ever since I posted about something Hollywood/DEI regarding whites, I have experienced something “different”. Regardless, I will not engage on this topic anymore. Please go out and enjoy the weather!

I appreciate that @RapAdmin gives us the freedom to express our unique personalities. But because there are so many interesting and intelligent (and quirky) individuals here, it’s not always pretty. The key is to try and be tolerant (but I draw the line at some things). What you gain over a more tightly regulated forum is that you can actually get to know people. Sometimes threads do go off on a little tangent but that can be interesting, you can skip over it.

Thanks for the heads up! I just read that whole thread and as off topic as it was, it really helped in getting to know people (especially @RapAdmin ). Even @AnUser made some good points (I know, unbelievable, right?).

@Jonas In case you don’t know, this forum’s software allows for blocking people. I have used it. You can set it for a period of time (a “time out”) or as a permanent block. And you can change your mind later.
