I was wondering the same thing @Walter_Brown. I found a few mail-in test strips, such as to LabCorp, but I wasn’t able to find a simple on-the-spot urine test strip. If K is significantly elevated, it will recycle through the kidneys and urine. In turn, that will probably alter PH, which is easily measured on many urine test strips, but I don’t know if that route of inference has much specificity. For now, I’m forgoing bananas but otherwise eating my same Mediterranean diet until I get my regular Life Extension blood test. I have read that elevated serum K is a greater concern when there is significant kidney impairment and/or a high sartan dose.

What about rilmenidine vs viagra?
I read many articles before I switched from losartan to telmisartan, Telemsarten also has longevity effects and fewer side effects than rilmenidine.
“What should pleasantly surprise members taking antihypertensive drugs now is that telmisartan has displayed longevity benefits above and beyond its ability to control blood pressure 24 hours a day”
So, I won’t be switching to ranitidine at this time. I might reconsider in the future if there are any real benefits to switching from telmisartan to ranitidine
“Telmisartan reduces the risk of dementia & cognitive impairment”.
“Telmisartan recommended over rilmenidine due to better evidence for cardiovascular protection”
“Of all the drugs in this class, telmisartan stands out as superior for potential longevity enhancement.101-103”
