So many peptides, so little proof of efficacy or safety. Which one should I try?
This is by no means an exhaustive list of peptide suppliers. I have done no business with them nor can I vouch for them.

There is a lot of literature that you haven’t read, starting with the book by Dr.Seeds, posted by KSB above. Look up any peptide on PubMed. It will surely have an extensive research history, a lot of science behind it. You have to be lucky, though. You have to find a vendor/manufacturer that does third-party testing and sells at an attractive price They’re out there.
@Tomnook
Yes, sir. http://rupharma.com/ is probably a compounding pharmacy. It has a very interesting catalogue, and I plan to order four or five items myself. The prices are neither good or bad, between wholesale and retail.

Try any steroid forum out there. Enter ‘peptide’ in the search function. You may or may not get a hit. If you do, go deeper.

Synthetic insulin is a peptide, a sequence of 51 amino acids. It’s discovery earned a Nobel Prize.

I totally agree that there are amazing peptides and bioregulators out there like insulin. But, I’d like more research and less anecdote for the others.

Peptides like insulin and glucagon came in the old days from slaughtered animals likes pigs.
Albumin used in many cell growth experiments from cows (BSA)
After that came solid fase synthesis as invented by RB Merrifield
This is still great if the chain-length is not to great to produce “large” amounts at moderate cost

It’s unfortunate that you had a poor outcome. The only thing I can suggest is lowering the dosage. Did you try cutting it in half or quarters?
Ok thank you I will give that a try , I’m not sure if Peptides work but they haven’t done me any harm
Can’t post on a public forum but DM’d
Yes got it thanks, I will make a note of the DM , very kind of you

DeStrider, several years ago I used Can-C Eye Drops with N-Acetylcarnosine morning and night for 6 months. I noticed no benefit or harm, but they did sting. I bought the product through Amazon at that time, but I notice now that Amazon no longer carries the product. People are different. They may work for you.

For your eye problems, you might check out https://rupharma.com, a Russian compounding pharmacy. Besides Visoluten, which is now going for 20% off, it sells Retinalamine, which is pricey at $215 per treatment, and Opthalamine, which is more reasonable at $37. These are natural peptides, not synthetic, so they are not widely available. They’re recommended for retinal dystrophy and can be taken every six months, which lowers the sticker shock. And, hey, if they work, no price is too high.

My floaters are weird. They only appear in brightly lit areas. I can tell they’re the same shape, so they appear to be permanent. Normally I don’t see them.
"OPHTALAMIN® - peptide bioregulator for the eyes. CYTAMINS® - Geropharm natural peptides.
It is recommended to administer to facilitate eye tissue function restoration in case of various traumas including dystrophic retinal diseases and post-traumatic corneal dystrophy. Ophthalamin is also recommended for the elderly persons to support vision organ function.
Ophtalamin is a natural peptide bioregulator developed to restore and maintain the functions of the eyes. It helps to eliminate and prevent pathological impairments of the eyes tissues, improves metabolism in the eyesХ cells. Ophtalamin is recommended to treat dystrophic diseases of the retina, cornea, diabetic retinopathy, eye trauma and after ocular surgery. The peptides selectively act on the cells of the eyes and improve its functions.
Ophtalamin is a complex of proteins and nucleoproteins obtained from the eyes of young animals. The complex provides a selective action to the cells of the eyes accelerating restoration processes and improving visual functions of the eyes. After entering the body the peptides break down into amino acids and nucleoproteins, which are used by the cells of the eyes to synthesize new essential proteins, thus producing new cells, restoring damaged cells, stimulating their growth and optimal functioning. The action of Ophtalamin accelerates the restoration of the integrity of the corneal epithelium; reduces blepharospasm, photophobia; prevents age-related alternations of the eye tissues. Natural peptides do not cause side effects and intoxication, do not accumulate in the body and do not have withdrawal syndrome.
Indications for use:
- treat eye injuries,
- combat cornea diseases,
- cure retinal dystrophy,
- after surgery therapy,
- treat diabetic retinopathy."

CT Thank you Tim, I will try to get both, exactly, no price is too much for one’s eyesight. I really don’t think Visoluten has done anything for me but I’m still taking it. Something definitely did work a few months ago as my eye test was much better and the Ophthalmologist was shocked and asked me what had I been doing to improve my eyesight, at the time I had not thought about Visoluten being the answer but afterwards, I realized that it could be, or it could be rapamycin. I am due for another eye test in two weeks time if my eyesight is still as it was previously, then it has to be either rapamycin or Visoluten for sure . Thank you again for your kind recommendation

Hi again Tim
I went to the website but I it doesn’t appear to accept credit cards, I don’t have Bitcoin so I guess I cannot buy from them. I was really keen to try their eye products
You can set up an account for cryptocurrency at one of the exchanges like Kraken or Coinbase. I recommend Kraken. I just buy a small amount of Bitcoin to use for some overseas purchases. Neither Kraken nor Coinbase require any money to open an account. For security reasons opening an account is a little bit of a hassle.
I just keep about 200 dollars worth of Bitcoin in the account.
My personal opinion is that everyone should have a cryptocurrency account.

Even if they don’t improve, I hope your eyes are stable. Peptides may not work for your shoulder. As well as TB & BPC have worked for other injuries, they haven’t done a thing for my bum shoulder. But neither has rapa. PT helps, heat pads help, and so does a little prednisone.
