I have run public sector and private sector organisations. Private sector organisations are much easier to manage. Hence if you have reasonable competition operating then it is best to have a private sector organisation.

This could be a positive development for longevity research… we’ll see. I’ve seen him at longevity conferences and get-togethers in San Francisco. I hope he shifts some more of the NIH / NIA budget over to the ITP program to get it moving faster, with more compounds tested.
