It could be both a dye and work at the follicle level too. One way to test is to stop using and see if the color gradually fades or grows out abruptly or it grows out colored but the ends fade to gray

2 of the ingredients are gallic acid and acetic acid, check Wikipedia

Interestingly gallic acid naturally occurs in green tea (but not), could this be why @Agetron’s lotion works?

Am trying it out on eyebrows since easier to be consistent and I have a few grey hairs in those ; however now a week and still nothing so I don’t think it is a dye ( or at least, a dye thst actually works ) as it should be black by now :sweat_smile::woman_shrugging:t2:

(I tried to make before-picture but on my phone pictures you cannot see the 2 grey hairs in the brow so maybe (:crossed_fingers:) I can send a picture of a hair half black and half white once I get results )
