It did not remove any beard hair for me. You are confusing the Forever Young and Forever Bare BBL. They are different treatments.

In regard to Hydroquinone, SPF 50 sunscreen isn’t some magical skin protector if the dark spots treated by Hydroquinone has been stripped of the melanocytes. UVA and UVB will still get through the skin, albeit in smaller amounts. The skin is ultrasensitive after any treatment be it laser, retinol, and especially hydroquinone. Better to avoid spot treating in summer months when in direct exposure to sun.

everyone when u list a site make sure u say clearly and right off whether it requires a script or not so as to not waste peoples time for useless sites that require a prescription or that only sell to companies etc .!!

It’s on the manufacturer’s website and multiple third party websites: “Forever Young BBL can also be used to reduce unwanted hair.

Really, permanent hair removal? What is BBL?
That website doesn’t say what it actually is/does.
Which one is more effective for hair removal, IPL or BBL?

Thx. Tacrolimus Is really cheap I noticed and available on prescription. If it works to even out face skin pigmentation might be worth trying.
I could not find much about 4-ethoxybenzaldehye, this is not a medicine?
Dod you use them both simultaneously? Both in the overnight?

I just placed my order - no prescription. Well see if it arrives.

i don’t know what u mean overnight. 4-ethoxybenzaldehyde is 4-ethoxybenzaldehyde a compound obviously like the billions of other non one element matter and is not a polymer . It has CAS: 10031-82-0 and is a liquid at 25C but a solid at a temperature not much below that.u can easily find all that info. You can make it into a 1% solution in an infinite number of ways. yes i have used alone and/or together. Tacrolimus in a ready made ointment at .1% is available without prescription from the places in india i have repeatedly mentioned and u can get tacrolimus cas 104987-11-3 from Chinese vendors and possibly some indian vendors and same goes for 4-ethoxybenzaldehyde both classified as API’s=…pharmaceutical ingredient… u will have to do the research.yourself. If u don’t know how to make it into a topical liquid or whatever i suggest u learn. Otherwise you may get it ready made solution , cream, gel or whatever from maybe Cutanix Company and others at a high price. you will have to do the research yourself as i don’t do it that expensive way as i have no reason to. Again tacro is not a mesotherapy item and u don’t just use it routinely for no specific reason i wouldn’t think. . The results of 4-ethoxybenzaldehyde are much more immediate for just basic somewhat uneven red areas for example but doesn’t in general do all the things that tacro does - i wouldn’t think so anyway. Quadrinone is another name used for 4-ethoxybenzaldehyde , and maybe containing other things, that is used i think mainly by one or some cosmetic companies - i think it’s a ‘coined’ name used by Cutanix Corporation and maybe Allergan.

Wavelegth of the laser can be controlled for men vs women. Obviously, my doctor does not ramp it up to the max in order not to destroy the hair follicle. Different wavelength is used for different treatments, hence, the website states “can also be used” .

It is not part of the standard treatment. I’m assuming most doctors don’t max it out for men if they don’t specifically ask for the hair removal part.
Perhaps if the doctor is unexperienced you can expect that side effect for men.

No. This comes directly from the user manual, page 259 of 279, under Section 9.11.14.1 Treatment Basics - Forever Young BBL TM. It’s warning about the permanent loss of beard hair as a side effect:

For male patients, the beard area is an important consideration. It is crucial to inform patients that
there may be partial or complete loss of dark beard hair in BBL treated areas. For the first pass on female patients (and male patients who are willing to risk loss of beard hair) the full sapphire crystal is
used

It then gives separate directions at the bottom for women (and men who are okay with permanent facial hair loss) versus men who aren’t. For men who aren’t okay with it, it informs on how to treat the area above the beard line only.

Interesting. I personally haven’t seen that side effect yet. I will ask my dr on the next visit. Thanks for the info.

People should definitely have that in mind and request the dr not touch the beard area. As long as you don’t touch the beard and above lip area I think you should be fine. If I remember correctly, I think my dr only did one pass over my beard on a lower setting and didn’t touch above the lip area.

too bad it’s not guaranteed to remove all beard and facial hair for men. That would be the greatest thing ever - not having to shave ever again !! if anyone finds something like that guaranteed to remove all facial hair for men let everyone know.

just hope he will ship by regular mail. Any specail… or ups or fedex etc. are prohibitively expensive unless u maybe order hundreds of dollars worth. By the way i have had tubes of tretinoin sitting out in room temperature non ac. in Florida and Puerto rico for years with no obvious loss in potency.

He has a special Indian delivery service that comes with tracking and takes about two weeks. It costs about $35 flat as I mentioned upthread.

a rather high fee. reliable is $18 no matter how much order and often gives discounts in addition. And if they don’t take credit card that is a real bad disadvantage. Reliable and pharma do take credit card

of the few places i seen on internet to buy that stuff is ungodly expensive. Best to find a similar less well known brand that is cheaper if possible or best make your own from some of same ingredients.

Love your sense of humor, if it was working so good why did you stop? Sagging is my primary issue this product seems to be geared toward acne? Thanks I already spend so much on products, unsure if I should mix too many of them in my skin.
Does it dry yout skin? Thanks in advance. Patty

Adapalene may be useful for acne, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be useful for other skin conditions.

Yes, the adapalene did dry my skin. Iirc, mostly during early usage, there was flaking. And later it seemed that if I was too enthusiastic in applying around my eyes, trying to reduce the turkey’s feet, subsequently skin would flake off. Also, I developed a rash on my neck that persisted for quite while. I was also applying one those vitamin c/retinol/hya acid/nicotinamide/salicylic acid products at the same time, which stung for the first few weeks. I had already gotten good skin thickening results from this, but it did not tighten skin. Think I was also applying a general moisturizing cream, but maybe I didn’t start until later.

I stopped adapalene because it seemed to induce random dark spots. Ironically, the one notable ‘age spot I’ had on my face before I started all this has become virtually invisible, but now I have several similar-looking spots that weren’t there, or weren’t as apparent, before adapalene. In some areas, upon closer examination, my skin sort of looks like randomly-cut, grouted, mosaic tiles. But you have to look fairly closely. I will try to add some pics later. I need three hands to get good photos.

I wish the blotchiness weren’t there, but I put a high value on the skin tightening.

Thanks for the info! I am already using Rapamycin cream from Healthspan, which dries my skin I am debating if I should add this one. Sagging is my main concern right now. The Platinum LED lights have been very effective on my age spots. Combining the lights with micro needling has also helped. Patty

sagging is only corrected by surgery. nothing else will fix that. it is a waste of expense and time to think anything else is going to work.

Depends on where the sagging is and to what degree, look into Radiesse filler injections. It works well.
Basically it stimulates new collagen growth which can help tighten, smooth out and re-contour your neck, face, hands, arms etc… The prices in the US for it are not reasonable so look into having it done somewhere in EU for a fraction of the price and better quality.
