Yes, that seems like a winning stack/combo. My T is in high 500’s otherwise I’d have given it a try also. If I ever drop in low 400’s I wouldn’t hesitate to add TRT to my regimen.

Thanks for the interesting sharing, @Agetron. Thanks also for the proposal of her as a potential guest to the podcast. I think I would like more focus on mTOR with the guest that I have. Ideal is around 80% of the talk is about mTOR, rapamycin and other related topics. 20% can be more other things. My plan is to interview David Sabatini hopefully this year and go through the preliminary data from the mTOR screening project with him. I think that will be very interesting episode.

Definitely Sabatini would be a fantastic choice.

When bored, I listen to the 2.5 hour - Drive talking everything rapamycin with Attia, Kaeberlein and Sabatini. Lol

Yes, it’s one of my favorite episodes. I listened to it again some weeks ago.

I wish I had so much more time so that I could interview a lot more people

Do we know if Mat is taking Rapamycin? I think he looks pretty good for a 53-year-old guy.

Yes, he is taking Rapamycin. I think in this episode he shares some of his experiences.

After asking about rapa for a couple of years, and after being told it’s too early, @Agetron, it was this episode that finally got my doc to say, ok, it’s time!

Probably true. :stuck_out_tongue:
That made me take the leap… 5 years ago.

This is great stuff. I remember you mentioning you’re taking 3iu of HGH nightly and 100mg of DHEA. Do you mind sharing the rest of your routine, such as your Rapamycin dose and whatever else you’re taking/doing?

130mg? Bipolar level dosage? Or is there some sort of elemental conversion I’m missing here. For the sake of comparison, I’m using 10mg lithium orotate from Doublewood

Horbaach’s Lithium Orotate:

Horbaach’s Lithium Orotate delivers 130 mg (5mg of Elemental Lithium) of this Trace Mineral in Quick-Release capsules.

lithium orotate contained 3.83 mg of elemental lithium per 100 mg and lithium carbonate contained 18.8 mg of elemental lithium per 100 mg

Ahhh… thanks Steve… yes, actually 5 mg. Was traveling when I posted this information from memory. Been using since January or earlier.

By the way

I do not dose NAD - sorry!
I meant NAC 600 mg

I corrected it above.

As you take NAC, shouldn’t you add in some glycine? (Though maybe you get enough of that from the meat that you eat).

I have it… just need to add to my coffee with Taurine and Creatine. Thanks.

But don’t forget you can’t take Glycine with Taurine as they use the same receptors and glycine takes priority.
Two coffees a couple of hours apart, one with each is the way to do it.

That’s what I did.
Noon coffee with Glycine and AAKG.
Tbh… AAKG has a funk taste.

Thanks.

I’ve seen this before and now I guess I should finally make a decision

I take magnesium glycinate and 6g of taurine before bed to help me sleep

Is it the magnesium that helps sleep or the glycine or both (because I could take other mag before bed).

Do you happen to have a recommendation as to which one might be the best to take earlier? And yes, I realize I should just experiment, but I sleep so well these days, I’ve hesitated to mess around.

If you sleep so well why change anything?
Sure, one thing or another might not be doing anything or something else might be cancelled out, but if it is working so well, don’t mess about, keep it all the same.
