do you think I could mix the liquid Rapa in to a carrier lotion and that would work? As mentioned the Rapa I use is a liquid- so Im wondering if I just use drops of the liquid Rapa. in some basic neutral face lotion …

Here is a little short vid about the rapa lotion. You can also go on Youtube and search rapamycin or sirolimus and get LOTS of good info about what it does for the skin. Have fun!

Hey Lisa, i just went up to your original post when you explained that your dr.prescribed the liquid rapa because you dont take pills well. It just dawned on me! Is the stuff your dr. prescibed supposed to be taken orally? Someone else should really step in here ( @RapAdmin ?) as i dont know enough to tell you correctly but i dont know if you can mix an oral liquid rapa prescription with a lotion to put on your skin. I am wondering if those are two different animals.
That’s a good question. @Lisa can you post a link to the type of rapamycin liquid you are using. I’ve not looked into liquid rapamycin formulations because they are not often used, but they must have some sort of mechanism to “protect” the rapamycin as it goes through the stomach acid, and that could prevent absorption though the skin also. Its something you would need to research a bit.

Transcutol, otherwise known as diethylene glycol monoethyl ether, is commonly used in the skin care and pharmaceutical industry to both dissolve molecules (so it acts as a solvent for the rapa) and is also a penetration enhancer (helps the rapa penetrate the skin).
DMSO would also do the trick but isn’t as “friendly”…feels very oily and the sulfur in it often results in a garlicky taste in one’s mouth (and even garlic breath) after using it.

SURE here it is : Sirolimus (oral route) - Mayo Clinic.
I now take 2 ml a week - I bumped it down due to drowsiness but also good point about putting it on the skin since it may have some buffering agent in there- or some thing. The liquid itself is DISGUSTING thick and rather oily like the insides of an omega 3 capsule

Oh my gosh guys! I made up some rapa lotion and began using it on my hands, lower arms and face on 3/10/25. Today is 3/20/25 and so far the biggest noticeable change is on a barnacle (ya, I know, what an awful name for something growing on you, lol) I have on my face right up in the hairline. It is still there but used to be rough and kinda bumpy feeling. Now it is smooth and is about 1/3 smaller than it was! I took pictures on the first day i started and will take more pictures at the end of one month and share them here. I am very surprised to see any changes at all this soon! Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I am loving life today!!!
