Either an issue with the source of sirolimus or much less likely the lab. Completely inconsistent with what I’ve seen w FDA approved coated tabs or with RapaPro
Or in the product my reputable compound pharmacy is dispensing!

Maybe we got screwed by Siroboon and maybe we didn’t. Maybe I got screwed by my local compounding pharmacy and maybe I didn’t.
I will get to the bottom of this as important reputations are on the line!

A very frustrating dilemma. I’m getting no help from my prescribing Dr nor from my compounding pharmacist.
Next step: I’m getting 50 2mg tablets of Rapamycin from my local CVS pharmacy and I will resume my experimenting. I’m going to take my next dose on an empty stomach and test after 2 hr.
My goal is to see 10-20 ng/ml in my blood at 2 hours!

I’m curious if any of you have heard of Siroash Sirolimus made by United Bioceuticals in India?
I’ve never heard of them. One of the issues I found, when ordering from India is that if I ask for a given medication from a given supplier and they don’t have easy access to that brand, they’ll quote another brand that I’ve never heard of (usually its cheaper than the brand I’m familiar with).
I avoid those brands. The smaller Pharma companies in India are not likely to have the higher level quality control systems that the larger global Indian Pharma companies have. I hope the moderator of this thread will change the title because I’m now not at all sure if Siroboon does or does not have any Sirolimus in it.
I now believe the problem is LabCorp because the director of a medical program who is interested in blood levels of Sirolimus has conducted, on himself, an experiment similar to mine, i.e. several different sources of Rapamycin, different doses and different timing of blood testing using LabCorp, as I did, and he never got any lab results indicating there was any Sirolimus in his blood.
We’re both looking for a lab that can detect blood levels of Sirolimus.
N e suggestions???
All I really care about: is there 2mg of Sirolimus in a 2mg tablet of Siroboon?
One of the most popular longevity influencers on YouTube used LabCorp and he showed a significant increase (20+ng/ml) of Sirolimus in his blood two hours post ingestion.
So does his blood get processed by LabCorp in Seattle at a different facility than my blood drawn in Gig Harbor and sent to LabCorp?

I have been exclusively taking Siroboon pills only … I have been taking 20mg weekly… all I can say is after 12 hours I got 39.1ng/mL, after 36 hours 16.9ng/mL. I had many bad results with Siroboon in the past… it seems that by having GFJ and a meal 3 hours before taking the pills does the trick. (mainly because they do not have the enteric coating like the others. I even tried to add my own enteric capsules but it has no effect. Also I douse the pills in hemp oil before taking them… usually in a tablespoon.
What I think is the GFJ increase the absorption and the food must have reduce the acid level in the stomach which allows them to pass through. Next week I will be testing Biocon when they arrive and they have also given me a 5mg Siroboon strip to test out. If I can reduce my weekly or fortnightly pill count to 2 or 3, I am down for it.

In another thread you said enteric capsules were helping, what made you change your mind?

It may have helped if you didn’t eat anything but it is easier to do without it as I can add the hemp oil or evoo.
I have tried three different Rapamycin drugs, i.e. Siroboon, Dr Reddys and one compounded by a reputable compounding pharmacy. The compounding pharmacy has theirs in an acid resistant capsule and I have tried Siroboon as delivered and in an acid resistant capsule. Dr Reddys appears to be acid resistant due to a coating on the pills.
I take 6mg once per week and have had Labcorp test my blood two hours after dosing and there has never been any Rapamycin evident in my blood.
I’ve given up on testing as has a knowledgeable Dr I know.

Next 6mg dose of Dr Reddys I will take with GFJ on an empty stomach and will get my blood tested two hours latter.

If you want to boost the absorption, have something to eat 3 hours before.

I used Doctor Reddy initially with great results. It was actually rapamune. The little yellow triangle with red lettering.
Insurance company changed me to Zydus.

Just had issues taking my blood. I think the nurse is inexperience. 2x jab and she said to me to come back tomorrow. I went to another pathology to get my blood test. 14.5 hours after rapamycin instead of 12 hours. 8mg only this time. I skip last week. Anything between 12 to 18ng/mL is what I’m looking for. If that is the case I’ll go into a 2 week cycle. Either 8mg or 10mg.

Siroash Rapamycin is popping up more and it’s cheaper. Does anyone have experience or is familiar with this brand?
Never heard of the company… I would go only with the major brands of Indian Pharma sirolimus. The small ones are much less likely to have the quality control processes in place to consistently deliver high quality product. I agree but I ordered more Rapamycin and this is the brand that was shipped to me, despite the website showing a different brand. So now I’m stuck with it
Ah - you always have to specify in your order I want “Zydus sirolimus” (or whatever brand you want). Oh well, next time…
