I just bought my first rapa from BioCon… from Oddway International. Very good experience…4 or 5 stars all the way through.
I’ll use them again…

I just received my order from Jagdish at RL Pharma. I got 400 1mg Rapacan tablets and 300 50mg Acarbose tablets. It took 3 weeks from the email saying my payment was received until the day of delivery. The only snag was that US customs added an import fee of $82 USD which I paid at the post office. The package had no unusual smells. Email contact with Jagdish was good.
Cost was 400 Rapacan = $260, 300 Acarbose = $66, shipping = $36, Total to RL = $362, plus US customs = $82 so complete Total = $444 USD.

Don’t recall anyone else reporting this. Got any more details that can shed some light on how this came to pass? Aren’t you in Mexico?

Oddly, I have received some orders over $250 and have never been charged an import fee. Jagdish usually puts the cost of goods on the package way below the actual cost.
Did it look like the package had been opened by customs?

Yes, but MexiPost isn’t that reliable, so I had it sent to a friend in Laredo, TX. I’ll go up and pick it up. My guess is my order was slightly larger (but not large) and that may be why it got charged a customs fee. Or it could be just chance. When I contacted Jagdish, he said that it sometimes happens and they had no control over it. So I paid it. Shipping label looked normal - no mention of the contents. Hard to tell yet If they opened it since I haven’t seen it yet.
This is the first time I’ve heard of a customs fee. None of my packages to the USA from Jagdish had them. Sorry to hear that!

I just sent Jagdish the photo above. It doesn’t say anywhere that it was US Customs. It says “Short Paid/Other Postage Due” $84.45.

Pretty sure the Laredo PO ripped you off.
The right hand receipt says ‘Class/service Priority Mail Express PO - Add’

Priority Mail Expess, which doesn’t apply here at all, is an expensive service. (I don’t know what the ‘PO-add’ means.)
It just so happens that had ‘zone 9’ applied (like if you mailed PME from American Samoa) it would cost $84.30 according to USPS.com:

Perhaps someone saw that Mumbai was the source, and thought somehow US zone rates applied.
This could just be a coincidence, as that doesn’t quite match the $84.45 you were charged.
But whatever the case, pretty sure you got rolled by some ill-informed person at the Laredo PO.

Got my rapa from Jagdish today. He shipped it promptly and it took 15 days to arrive. Someone upthread said a box from him smelled bad, but nothing like that happened to me. The box was well wrapped (plastic around the outside) and the medication boxes inside were also sealed in their factory wrapping. Customs did not open it.
The only issue I had was that when I used Wise, it would not let me send him USD, only INR for some reason. His original quote was in USD and I had to get another quote in INR.

I got my first order of BioCon Sirolimus from Oddway International, courtesy of a post on this forum.
Excellent and quick service and delivery…so good I was motivated to post a recommendation on Trust Pilot !
I’ll use them again (to Australia).

Just curious: has anybody experienced shipment seizures the past few days? There’s discussion elsewhere about Interpol running another week long Operation Pangea, but it was supposed to end Monday. People were told by vendors that shipping had been paused until it was over.

Here’s the latest article I could find:
https://www.jdsupra.com/legalnews/mozambique-australia-and-qatar-interpol-1776337/
But would shipments of rapamycin from India be something that Interpol would care about?
Other reports suggest they don’t like any shipments of prescription drugs. We probably won’t see news articles about the March operation (assuming the vendors have accurate information) until after the LE PR teams release metrics of success.

Hi, I am new here! Thanks for the list and past user experiences. I see that all pharmacies/vendors sell rapamycin in strips so if you order a lot you end up with a bunch of boxes. Has anyone come across rapamycin sold in bottles? Alternatively, can you ask the vendor to repack it in a bottle? It’s impossible to import drugs to Ukraine without a prescription but if you bundle a bottled drug with supplements in one parcel you can get it through customs.

Since it is medicine, my guess would be that they would not put it into bottles. I’m not aware that there is bottled rapa (at least the generic version that comes from India), but it is best to contact someone and ask. I would also be cautious of the risk of contamination when they break the packaging to put it in bottles. Me personally would NOT use/take it if it was meddled with/repackaged. I would also be wary of the expiry/going bad sooner than in original packaging.

Hi @vkodryan , and welcome to our forums. The only place I’ve seen rapamycin come in “bottles” (or pill containers) is when you buy them from a pharmacy in the USA with a prescription. That is how we typically (or at least frequently) get many of our medications. But when you buy the medicines from India, yes, they all come in bubble or foil strips with 6 or 10 tablets per strip.
I really doubt that these online pharmacies are going to do what you are thinking - repackage them and ship them to you. Its probably not worth the time and effort for them.
Other approaches you might investigate are the European prescription options (EUDoc, etc.) and perhaps use that to buy in Ukraine (I wonder if they would accept a EU prescription)? Or there is an online pharmacy (BGPharma) in Bulgaria that ships anywhere, but again the Rapamune is in strips so that may not help you.
Sorry, I can’t see any obvious solutions.

I live in Netherlands. From my previous experience Dutch customs confiscated the drugs from India. So it doesn’t matter whether you have prescriptions and they didn’t give you chance to explain to them.
Hi all, I just received the following pricing from Oddway for my order, and would like to know what you think of these prices. Shipping is $30 / 8-10days.
If anyone has ordered from Oddway, which payment method did you use? They accept Telegraphic Transfer and bank transfer. I have a Wise account. Is using Wise considered a telegraphic transfer?
Rybelsus 7 mg 9 packs $ 50 per pack of 10 tablets- Yikes, could this be a mistake, or is this typical for Rybelsus?
Jardiance 25mg 9 packs $12.5 per strip of 10 tablets
Glucar 25mg 9 packs $ 10 per strip of 10 tablets
Dasatinib 50mg 1 pack of 60 tablets $75
Rapacan 1 mg 16 packs $14 per strip of 10 tablets = $1.40/tab
Oddway tends to be a little more expensive than the others - perhaps 10% to 20% more than the cheaper ones. See prices comparison here Rapamycin etc., Purchase Price Comparison Spreadsheet, and Issues Discussion
But Oddway has been responsive for the orders I have made with them. They are a larger business than most of the online pharmacies I think.
