How do you distinguish between when something is like when people believing the world is flat or that earth was the center of the universe or that organs transplants never would work or that man would never be able to go to the moon vs things that actually are crazy?

Personally I feel it highly likely thst - as long as we don’t end up destroying civilization one way or the other - humans will eventually conquer most of aging and disease. Scenarios where longevity escape velocity for a least our young generations do not seem like something that can be ruled out.
